Darlington face MK Dons this weekend looking to extend their early stay at the top of the table. Quakers are unbeaten in their opening six league games and continued their good start to the campaign with a 2-0 home win over Lincoln City. MK Dons meanwhile recorded a 3-0 over Brentford to ensure that both sides go into this game in excellent form. Darlington manager Dave Penney expects this to be one of the toughest games yet for his side but admits Quakers' own good form means they fear no one.

"Both teams are doing quite well at the moment and both clubs have had good results the previous weekend so it probably is one our toughest games yet. It's a new ground for us though and the playing surface should be good which will suit us. It is another challenge but we have risen to them all so far and we need to carry that on," said Penney.

"They are a big, strong unit who like to get the ball forward and they have big players for the set pieces. I am sure they will want to get the ball down and play when they can but the physical aspect, which you need in this division, they've got. We have that as well so we have to match them first and foremost but we are confident the way we are playing and defending at the moment."

"We don't fear any body. I am sure they will be saying much the same about us. This is a tough game and they have some good players. You never know quite what is going to come out on the pitch so it will be an interesting game for sure," continued Penney.

Darlington's success has been built at the back. Quakers have only conceded twice this season and haven't let a goal in on their travels. Meanwhile goals at the opposite end of the pitch have been in good supply. It makes for an excellent combination.

Whilst Darlington can call on the in form Pawel Abbott the visitors will be well aware of Keith Andrews. The former Hull City and Wolves midfielder is no stranger to Penney. Andrews has started the season in terrific form scoring six goals. The twenty-seven year old is a real driving force from midfield however Penney is aware of the threat.

"I tried to take him to Donny but we couldn't quite afford him. He has gone to MK and scored six from six. He is a threat from set pieces and distance. We have talked about it today and we know all about it. Ricky Ravenhill will do his best to try and stop him from scoring," said

Dons manager Paul Ince has no new injury worries ahead of the game. Defender Drissa Diallo had stitches in a wound just below his eye at half-time in last week's win at Brentford. Midfielder Colin Cameron remains a major doubt with an ankle injury but Kevin Gallen and Luke Howell have both resumed training after groin problems. Scott Taylor has is also back in training after an knee problem but Drewe Broughton (ankle) is still out.

Darlington meanwhile only have a couple of concerns. Long term injury victim Martin Smith is still not in a position to figure and neither is Neil Austin. "Kevin McBride got a whack during the reserve team game in midweek and has opened his ankle up. They are the two main ones who are not in the squad," said Penney.
