Struggling Mansfield Town must get six points from their next two games says Irish midfielder Stephen Dawson. The Stags have only won game so far this campaign and lost four games. With upcoming matches against Accrington Stanley and Dagenham the midfielder feels that his side need to get going.

"Both these games are winnable for us - no excuses. I know they will be a bit of a battle but I feel we must get six out of six points," said Dawson. "Accrington is a tough ground to go to. But we have nothing to fear. We have played some of the top sides recently and if we'd taken our chances at Peterborough we could have won it. Against Chesterfield it was down to more sloppy goals. These goals are all down to individual errors. We have to work as a team and know our jobs. If we keep working hard and cut out the sloppy mistakes our luck is bound to turn."

There is also trouble for Mansfield off the pitch. The club have seen the capacity of their Field Mill ground halved. Due to an administrative error extra tickets were sent to Chesterfield. The extra Chesterfield fans were housed in the disused Bishop Street Stand during the derby match and this has led to the Safety Advisor Group's latest decision on the ground's capacity.

Elsewhere in Coca-Cola League Two Bury Town manager Chris Casper has been told that the club's home form must improve or else. Without a win since December 16, Bury boast the poorest home record of any club in the Football League during 2007. Director Ian Harrop has warned the club's fortunes must improve.

"Everyone is concerned regarding our home form, but the statistics don't lie," said the director. "The manager, director of football and board realise that we need to start winning our home games. The performances in two or three of the games have been good, but we haven't held on for the result, and it is a results business. We had a meeting the other night and came out of it feeling very positive. Everyone knows now that our results must improve over the next three or four games."

Casper however has stated that he is no quitter and feels he can turn results round at Gigg Lane. Some doubted whether the Shakers boss would last out the weekend - but following a meeting with the board of directors on Monday night, it is understood he was given one month to turn round a run of four consecutive defeats.

"I will continue to fight here. I have always been like that," he said. "I won't walk away from anything and I am confident that I can get results with this team. I continue to find out about myself in this job, and how other people work, and even though the last few weeks have been difficult, I still enjoy every day. I believe in my own ability, and having talked things over this week, feel a lot more confident now the situation is more clear."
